Iron Age Broch Seeks Adventurous Artist/s for Romance, Exploration and Engagement in Isolated Splendour

The Assynt Foundation in the far north Highlands of Scotland, funded by Heritage Lottery Fund via the Coigach & Assynt Living Landscape Partnership, seeks expressions of interest from multi-disciplinary artists to engage with the archaeological exploration of the Clachtoll Broch.
The broch project has excavated hidden treasures, obscured by tonnes of rubble, since the buildings collapse over 2000 years ago.
A commission of £5000, to include all fees and costs for delivery of completed artwork, is available. This opportunity looks for creative interpretation of the digs activity and processes.
Application Deadline: Friday June 22
Application is by email only. Include how you think this opportunity is relevant to your practice and details of how you might approach the project in collaboration with the community and archaeologists
You will find further information about the residency and the application process here.
